Inspiration
The next health crisis is already here — and it’s not waiting for headlines.

It Started with a Phone Call
In the peak of his corporate career, Dr. Pawandeep Singh received a late-night call from his house help. Her sister was critically ill, and the family was scrambling to arrange money for treatment.
They saved her life — but spent ₹1.5 lakh in just 5 days, pushing themselves deep into debt. Later, Dr. Singh discovered she had undiagnosed diabetes and had been relying on a local pharmacist instead of a qualified doctor.
That night revealed a broken healthcare system — and sparked the birth of Sanjhi Sehat.

Breaking the Cycle of Suffering
Rajiv's Life-Saving Heart Screening Journey
Rajiv, a 53-year-old factory worker from Thode Pind, suffered ongoing breathlessness and chest pain but ignored the symptoms and took antacids for relief. During Sanjhi Sehat’s mass ECG screening, he was diagnosed with a serious heart condition and later agreed to undergo a life-saving stent procedure at minimal cost at GMC, Amritsar via Ayushman card. Timely intervention from our team prevented a major heart attack and financial hardship for the family. With support of proper medication, healthier eating habits, lifestyle changes and regular in person tele counselling from Sanjhi Sehat, Rajiv now advocates for preventive heart screenings in his village.

From Silent Suffering to Hope
Asha’s Journey Overcoming Diabetes and Hypertension
Asha Rani, 47 old from Village Othian, struggled with severe diabetes and hypertension. Over the period she had developed severe foot pain and numbness, a typical sign of neuropathy and, shockingly, was even given steroids by local unregistered practitioners—further complicating her health from unsafe treatments. With Sanjhi Sehat’s diagnosis her condition stabilized within a month after carefully adjusted medication, counselling for a better diet, and lifestyle modifications. Her blood sugar reduced from 450 mg/dl to 125 mg/dl and blood pressure improved significantly. Asha now lives with renewed strength and confidence.
